Club career
SV Oosterheem
Aart started his football career at SVO. At first he didn't play any matches, but was trained as goalkeeper. With exclusive goalkeeper practise he went through his first season. Aart had played on a half and whole field. When his team lost against a team of only girls, everyone including Aart had to cry. He was sad that he didn't succeed to save a lot of shots of the opponent.
Aart didn't became champion a second time and left SVO because he really didn't like it anymore.
FC A-S
Directly after the creation of FC A-S Aart left SVO. Together with Sander Pisa he started to play with FC A-S in the new Buytenwegh League. At first he often played as goalkeeper, but as time went on he played more and more as a field player.
In the years 2012 to 2015 he made his first development in the club. Sander Pisa took care of the goals and Aart took care of good assistance for him.
SV Oosterheem
In 2015 Aart and Sander left their club to join SVO's youth team. Aart regognized a lot of his (former) team mates of his time before 2012. Aart would play as a wide defender most of the time from then on. He wasn't really bad at it, but he wasn't really good too. He didn't like it to wait for hours for a single game on Saturday and was often called for individual training. Aart and Sander decided to quit SVO, partly because of these reasons, after one season. The weekly practises actually didn't make a noticable difference in Aart's stamina. After a warming up, Aart had to focus on his breath already.
FC A-S
After 2016 Aart returned to FC A-S. Two years later, the new start of FC A-S, he started the year in which he would win four personal titles. He became topscorer of the Buytenwegh League with 191 goals, Player of the Year 2018, best player Buytenwegh Cup and Buytenwegh League-player of the year. He also made it on his own to the third place playoff, which he would win. His opponent were mostly at least a few years younger than he was, should be mentioned.
